Christmas is great. Cosmote's What's Up pay as you go mobile brand was looking for an interactive way to attract youth audience members to its branded Christmas promo at The Mall Athens. What's Up is the most popular youth pay as you go mobile brand from Cosmote, and Christmas time is a big deal for them and their customers. In cooperation with OgilvyAction, we developed a mechanism to deliver a branded interactive experience to users. Promo staff at the What’s Up! brand area invited visitors to play the branded 'Find the hidden What's Up Cans' touch screen game. The purpose was to find all the What’s Up! cans and win cool prizes on the spot. To engage consumers via mobile, a proximity marketing network was set up at the location and all those visitors opting in received fun mobile video Christmas cards which they could share with friends.
